New York Mets Player of the Year Standings: Through Game 1

"The Mets Stress: Player of the Year" works this way.  For every win there will be three star of the game.  The first star of the game will be awarded ten points, the second star of the will be awarded five points and the third will be awarded three points.  In the case of the first game the three stars of the game on the game recap were Jonathon Niese (10 Points), John Buck (5 Points) and Collin Cowgill (3 Points).  In a Mets loss there will be only be one player awarded the Mets star of the game and they will be awarded 5 points.  At the of the year the player with the most points will be "The Mets Stress: Player of the Year".
